The Reverse Withdrawal Button Quietly Costs You
That queue at the start is also a cancellation window — usually 12 to 48 hours in which a reverse withdrawal button pulls the funds back into your playable balance. Some cashiers hide a lock-withdrawal toggle under account preferences rather than in the cashier itself; on sites without one, support can sometimes flag the account manually. What the Document Check Actually Wants
Verification fails on details more often than on suspicion. The name on your bank account has to match the name on the account you play with, so a married name, a middle initial or a shortened first name is the most common rejection. Proof of address means a utility bill or bank statement dated within three months and showing a street address; a screenshot of a banking app is usually refused because it carries no statement period. Ontario Payouts Follow Different Rules
Ontario has run its own regulated market since April 2022, with operators registered by the AGCO and contracted to iGaming Ontario. The practical difference at cash-out is that identity is verified when the account opens rather than when you first withdraw, so the document stage is largely done before any money is in play. Player funds must be held separately from operating funds, and complaints escalate through the operator to the AGCO. Players in the rest of Canada use internationally licensed sites, where verification lands at the first withdrawal instead and disputes go to the licensor.
Why the First Payout Is the Slowest
The first withdrawal from an account is not comparable to the ones after it. When the Casino Asks for a Bank Letter
